Thanks for the information about the JT65 transmission from 4M-LXS.
1.5W for 1 minute in every 5 minutes should be easily receivable even on a small beam with a masthead preamp, at least in the first few days while the satellite is 'close' to Earth.
However, I was under the impression that JT65 needed to be time synchronised between the transmitter and receiver.
Perhaps the satellite has an impressive real time clock or maybe there is a version of JT65 I'm not aware of.
Even if neither of the above is true, it should be possible to look at the transmission and 'sync' the receive periods by altering the PC clock.
