Do you have a registered copy? Sometimes programs don't let you keep files

When turning on program lost all satellite groups.? Am able to download
groups, but must download everytime programs is started up.? Did go to menu
program satellite & clicked on the o'kay button per instructions.? Didn't
work for later starts.? Is there a different procedure I should follow??
