On Wed 25 July, AMSAT volunteers will launch an APRS balloon
(simulated satellite) SIMSAT from the DELMARVA penninsula near
Salisbury Maryland. East coast launches are rare.

Midday on Tuesday some low-power 433.92 MHz "cricket-sats" may
also be launched. See the web page:

http://www.patkilroy.com/simsat/

AMSAT volunteers will operate an HF net also on 3860 KHz during
the launches. Local coordination will be on the 146.82 repeater
(PL 156).

WB4APR-9 will be the primary tracking chase vehicle. Winds are
light and maybe it will fall on land. If it goes to sea, we
have no boats available.. This is all N8PK, Pat Kilroy's
project, so also watch his mobiles and APRS posit N8PK-9.
