Hi Peter,
Looking through the documentation I have on the LVB tracker it looks like it has been designed for 0 to 5 VDC for AZ and EL feedback. Typically rotors have a wirewound "pot" with one end grounded and the other end open. A constant current source is fed to the wiper and the sense voltage is measured at the constant current source. If you can trim the constant current source, you can set the max value to 5 VDC. The LVB tracker has a calibration process to set the range of AZ and EL.
