Good evening,

The XW-2E transponder sounded great at 2223Z over eastern North
America. I worked W2JV, KE8AKW, and K8YSE and also heard KX9X.

The polarity shifts were challenging to keep up with, but other than
that, signals were strong. I don't feel like the signals are much
weaker than AO-73, even with only 1/3 of the power output.

Equipment here is 2 Yaesu FT-817s, a High Sierra Microwave LNAA146FIL
filtered preamp, and a Arrow 146/437-10 yagi hand held (holding it in
the hand was very important for keeping up with the polarity shifts).

Congratulations to CAMSAT and everyone involved in these projects.
