The building of the qfa is a problem. Following the plans on the net
yeilded an antenna that was resonant low in frequency. The good news
is the material is easy to get and cheep. Have not had the chance to
build a third one and find out if I can get it optimized. The 435 MHz
version was less than 2.5:1 Should be lower, though.
OTOH, I did build two (lhcp and rhcp), and switched them. The
performance was fairly good.
