I would like to have joined you Sebastian but Irene blew my satellite array
down :( I had my main HF tower in hurricane mode, but nothing else to do
with the sat antennas. Funny thing is Irene didn't have much of a punch till
after it made Landfall 40 miles from here about 6 am. The antennas blew down
sometime in the early afternoon after Irene was past. The trailing winds 6
hours later were stronger then the leading ones! Very strange. So now I'm
in a rebuilding mode. I should be back on the air in a few weeks...

At the 1850z pass, ARISSat passed at approximately 20 degrees for me. I
hadn't tried the SSB transponder in a while, and decided to give it a go.
Once I found my downlink, it was loud and clear throughout most of the past.
Called CQ for several minutes, but no takers.

Those who haven't tried it, really should.
