As the weather warms, remember to watch your APRS radio for HAMFEST alerts.  Or you can see a live plot of them on the web:  


If your local hamfest is not showing up, then someone in your area needs to remember to put-out an HFEST-DDx object. where DD is the day of the month and X is the next unused letter in the alphabet for that day as shown on the above web page.

By also includign the "FFF.FFFMHz" of the talkin frequency, mobiles can tune right in when they get close. This must be 
the first 10 bytes of the object text.

APRS is the on-air 24/7 global information resource for ham radio. But to be useful, someone has to put in the info..

Shucks, you can also do this for MEETINGS 
with  MEETG-DDx too.
